Adams County Board Transportation, Building & Technology Committee Met April 14.

Here is the minutes provided by the committee:

Chairman Dave Bellis called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM. in the law library. 

Present were: Committee Members: Dave Bellis, Les Post, John Brady in person & Ryan Hinkamper via Zoom 

Absent was: Joe Zanger 

Also present were: Jim Frankenhoff, Dave Bockhold, Kent Snider, Sue Hester, Gary Farha, Terry Bower, Caitlyn Hickerson, Rich Wagner, Scott Larson, David Hochgraber, Steve De Moss and Drew Zimmerman from the Quincy Herald-Whig 

• Mr. Brady made a motion to approve the minutes of the March 9, 2021 committee meeting as printed and distributed. Mr. Post seconded the motion. Motion to approve the minutes passed unanimously. 

The Committee reviewed, approved and signed off on the bills. Judge Larson spoke to the committee about space for the Public Defender's office, and HVAC problems in the courthouse. Jim Frankenhoff updated the Committee on various County Highway projects. Sue Hester spoke to the Committee about IT upgrades, David Hochgraber reported to the Committee on IT improvement options. Les Post made a motion to purchase server file storage in the amount of $20,784. 10. The motion received a second from John Brady and passed unanimously. Sue Hester spoke to the Committee about having backup servers in the sub-basement of the courthouse and the ambulance station at Mendon. The Committee and Jim Frankenhoff discussed whether North 36TH Street should be 3 or 4 lanes. It will be discussed again when it needs to be resurfaced. 

Terry Bower spoke to the Committee about sealing the courthouse exterior brick walls. Les Post made a motion to adjourn. John Brady seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously and the meeting adjourned at 6:55 P.M.
