Village of Mendon Village Board Met Jan. 14.

Here is the agenda provided by the board:

The Mendon Village Board of Trustees met in regular session in the Mendon Township Town Hall (Due to the state requirement for social distancing due to the corona virus outbreak). The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Village Mayor Dean Woodruff. Trustees were: Buss, Cannell, Moore, Voss and Wittler. Trustee King arrived at 7:05. Village Superintendent Cantrell and Village Clerk Woodruff were present.

Public Comments

 Brent Freesmeyer and Geoffey Thompson of Klingner and Associates distributed plans for Washington Street/South State and Ponderosa street repair - MFT Appropriation Discussion. After lengthy discussion it was decided to send to Street Committee for further follow up and recommendations.

To approve the agreement with the County of Adams and the Village of Mendon regarding Cures grant funds as they relate to COVID-19 and as part of this agreement to approve the payment of $25,111.20 to the Adams County EMA as per attached. The amount is then to be reimbursed to the Village of Mendon by the State of Illinois in distribution of CURES funds.
