Q3 2020 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Adams County?

There were 16 offenders released on parole during the third quarter of 2020 that live in Adams County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Quincy Reporter.

The data shows that 15 men and one woman were released in Adams County. The median age of the parolees was 34. The youngest parolee was a 22-year-old woman sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2020, and the oldest was a 51-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2019.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Travis Oenning. He was convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2016 when he was 24 years old. He is now 28.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the third quarter of 2020 in each Adams County municipality with at least one parolee in the quarter.
