City of Quincy issued the following announcement on Feb. 10.
Due to the addition of a new area code in the area served by 217, all calls in the 217 area code that are currently dialed with seven digits will need to be dialed using area code + telephone number. All customers can begin using the new dialing procedure now, but must use the new procedure starting February 27, 2021. Please click the link below for more information.
