Payson median home prices rose by 21.3% in the second half of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2020 in Payson rose by $20,250 while total sales decreased by 35.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2020, there were nine homes sold, with a median sale price of $115,500 - a 21.3% increase over the $95,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 14 homes sold in Payson in the second half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Payson for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,713, approximately 1.5% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2020.
