Rising home prices in Golden in the second half of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2020 in Golden rose by $45,250 while total sales decreased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2020, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $113,500 - a 66.3% increase over the $68,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in Golden in the second half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Golden for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,114, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2020.
