ADAMS COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT: The Adams County Health Department is moving to phase 1b of COVID-19 vaccine distribution

Vaccine

Adams County Health Department issued the following announcement on Jan. 16.

The Adams County Health Department is moving to phase 1b of COVID-19 vaccine distribution. Although there are many categories of eligible frontline workers included in this phase, we are currently prioritizing appointments for Adams County residents who are age 65 and older.

Adams County residents who are age 65 and older may register for a vaccination appointment online at www.adamscountytogether.com/vaccinate or by calling 217-600-4VAX (4829). The call center will be open today, Friday, from 9am-4pm and Saturday from 9am-4pm. Next week, the call center will be making vaccine appointments Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.

Preregistration is required for vaccine and no walk-ins will be allowed.

Individuals who qualify for vaccine in phase 1b through their employers should not register online or through the call center at this time. Your employer will be reaching out to you soon to schedule your vaccine appointment.

We are asking residents to please be patient with this process. As our inventory of vaccine increases, we will be expanding registration eligibility for 1b groups. Please visit our website to view the most current list of eligible groups, highlighted in green, who may register for vaccine.
