City of Quincy City Council met Dec. 7.

Here is the agenda provided by the council:

PETITIONS

Ward 6 By 1203 Harrison, LLC requesting consideration for a Special Permit for Planned Development to operate a gaming parlor with limited alcohol sales at 1207 Harrison Street, presently zoned R1C.

Ward 4 By Jeremy Trenter requesting consideration for a Special Permit for Planned Development to operate a pizzeria with sit down and delivery service at 2001 Jefferson Street, presently zoned R1C.

Ward 3 By Charles T & Kathie J Marx requesting consideration for a subdivision of property located at 3400 Quincy Mall, Quincy, Illinois under the “small tracts” provision of the Subdivision Ordinance, presently zoned C3.

Resolution For Illinois Local CURE’s Economic Support Payment Grant Program.

Aeronautics Committee and Airport Director recommending approval of the quote from Ace American Insurance Co. in the amount of $9,492 for the renewal of required tank liability insurance.

Aeronautics Committee and Airport Director recommending Control Technology & Solutions be retained as the energy consulting and engineering firm at the Quincy Regional Airport.

Utilities and Engineering Director and Utilities Committee recommending approval of the low bid from D & L Excavating in the amount of $146,401 for the replacement of a section of a 24” sewer pipe along Curtis Creek at South 24th.

Utilities Director and Engineering and Utilities Committee recommending approval of the low bid from National Power Rodding of Chicago, IL in the amount of $149,525 for repair of 520 leaking sewer joints.

Utilities and Engineering Director and Utilities Committee recommending approval of the low bid from Hoerr Construction Inc., Goodfield, IL in the amount of $780,595 for the installation of structural FRP liner in sewers throughout the city.

Utilities and Engineering Director and Utilities Committee recommending approval of the low quote from Core & Main of Washington, IL in the amount $7,800 for 4 fire hydrants.
