Adams County Board Legislative and Judicial Committee met Nov. 10.
Here is the minutes provided by the committee:
The Committee was called to order by Chairman Bier at 6:15PM.
Members present at the committee are as follows: Barney Bier, Theresa Bockhold, and Raquel Piazza all via Zoom.
Other in attendance are as follows: Ryan Niekamp
Mr. Bier made a motion to approve the minutes from the October meeting. Mrs. Bockhold seconded the motion and the minutes were approved.
Mr. Bier discussed the purposed revisions to the County Code for a request of proposal and bidding and contract procedures. Mr. Bier presented to the committee the revisions for the code.
Mrs. Bockhold moved that the code revision for the request for proposal be approved to take to the County Board. Mrs. Piazza seconded the motion and the revisions was approved.
Mr. Bier presented to the committee two resolutions (2020-11-001-029 – 2020-2021 Holiday Schedule & 2020-11-001-030 – 2020-2021 County Board Schedule). Mr. Bier asked for the language of “unless through an order of the Circuit Court” removed from the purposed holiday schedule for 2021.
Mr. Bier moved that the resolutions were approved with the one edit to the holiday schedule. Mrs. Bockhold seconded the motion and the resolutions passed to be presented to the County Board.
