Liberty Community Unit School District 2 Board of Education Met August 19

Liberty Community Unit School District 2 Board of Education met Aug. 19.

Here is the minutes provided by the board:

Regular meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. Members present: Bany, Clark, Krutmeier, Poulter, Schmidt and Yoga, Absent: Mixer. 6 present I absent. Also present: Kelle Bunch, Justin Edgar, Jody Obert, Michael Smith, Adam Lee and Allen Flynn.

Joel Mixer arrived at 6:35 p.m.

Allen Flynn left at 6:50 p.m.

Motion by Poulter, seconded by Clark that the board of education approve the Routine Consent Agenda. Roll Call Vote: Aye: Barry, Clark, Krutmeier, Mixer, Poulter, Schmidt and Yoga. 7 ayes O nays. M.C.

Motion by Clark, seconded by Krutmeier that the board of education approve the consent agenda, noting the Item D - Memorandum of Understanding is pending TRS approval and removing Items G & H to vote on separately. Roll Call Vote: Aye: Barry, Clark, Krutmeier, Mixer, Poulter, Schmidt and Yoga. 7 ayes O nays. M.C.

Motion by Clark, seconded by Bany that the board of education approve items G & H from the consent agenda and Item H should include a line that no child under high school age allowed. Roll Call Vote: Aye: Barry, Clark, Poulter and Schmidt. Nay: Krutmeier, Mixer and Yoga. 4 ayes 3 nays. M.C.

Adam Lee left at 7:53 p.m.

Motion by Clark, seconded by Poulter that the board of education approve the personnel report, as attached. Roll Call Vote: Aye: Barry, Clark, Krutmeier, Mixer, Poulter, Schmidt and Yoga. 7 ayes O nays. M.C.

Motion by Clark, seconded by Krutmeier that the board of education adjourn. Time: 8:22 p.m. Roll Call Vote: Aye: Bany, Clark, Krutmeier, Mixer, Poulter, Schmidt and Yoga. 7 ayes O nays. M.C.
