City of Quincy City Council met Sept. 14.

Here is the agenda provided by the council:

PETITION

Ward 3 By Applebees, 3829 Broadway, requesting permission to have Live Entertainment/Public Gathering on various dates outside in their tent to the end of the year from noon to 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The Police Department recommends approval of the permit.

SALES TAX REPORT

June, 2020 - $889,015.87

HOME RULE SALES TAX REPORT

June, 2020 - $817,081.91

PROCLAMATIONS

September 14th – 18th as “Chamber Of Commerce Week”

September 17th – 23rd as “Constitution Week”

RESOLUTIONS

Airport Director, Aeronautics Committee, and the Purchasing Agent recommending approval of the bid from Luby’s Equipment Services in the amount of $226,085 for the purchase of a Case 721G articulating wheel loader with certain attachments.

Aeronautics Committee and Airport Director recommending approval to enter into an agreement with Crawford, Murphy and Tilly Inc. to provide engineering services for airport projects at a total cost not to exceed $743,500 to be 100% funded through the FAA’s Airport Improvement Program.

Aeronautics Committee, Comptroller, and Airport Director recommending approval to have Crawford, Murphy, and Tilly Inc. retained as the consulting engineering firm at Quincy Regional Airport.

An Ordinance Adopting The Quincy Regional Transportation Plan 2020.

Ward 1 An Ordinance Annexing Certain Territories To The City Of Quincy, Adams County, Illinois. (1700 Hamann Lane and 1708 Hamann Lane.)

Ward 2 An Ordinance Granting A Special Use Permit For A Planned Development. (Construct a two-family residential unit at 1307 Elm St. and 1313 Elm St.)

Ward 3 An Ordinance Granting A Special use Permit For A Planned Development. (Outdoor Beer Garden at 1130 N. 24th.)

An Ordinance Amending The 2020-2021 Fiscal Year Budget. (Increase the Police Grant Fund $83,617)
