Ward 7 By the Elks lodge BPOS #100, 311 N. 2nd, requesting to waive Section 111.096(b), Permitting Open Liquor to Leave Licensed Premises, on September 12th from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for a car show on their parking lot.
RESOLUTIONS
Chief of Police and Police Aldermanic Committee recommending approval to have Deputy Chief Adam Yates and Lieutenant Chad Scott housed at the Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham in Wheeling, IL for ten weeks at a total cost of $8,160.00 for Police Staff and Command school.
Resolution requesting permission from IDOT to temporarily close the left lane of westbound U.S. Route 24, a State Highway in the City of Quincy from the west terminus of State Route 104 to the Missouri State Line on September 26th for the “Moonlight Ride for Hunger Bicycle Ride”, 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Utilities Director and Engineering and Utilities Committee recommending approval to purchase of one (1) Ford 2020 cargo van and one (1) 2020 Ford Ranger 4x4 pick-up truck from Gem City Ford in the amount of $69,888.
Utilities Director and Engineering and Utilities Committee recommending approval to accept a contract change order and payment issued to Williams Brothers Construction of Peoria, IL in the amount of $34,007 for construction of a lime pumping station and rehabilitation of the lime building at the Water Treatment Plant.
Utilities Director and Engineering and Utilities Committee recommending approval of the low bid from Praxair Inc. of Danbury, CT for the purchase of Liquid Carbon Dioxide at $100 per ton.
