Cost of college went up for all students at Quincy University

Tuition and fees rose 2.9 percent for 2018-19 at Quincy University, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Illinois students paid $28,562 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $792 more than the $27,770 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 234 students received grants or scholarships totaling $5.1 million and 211 students took out student loans totaling more than $1.1 million.

Including all undergraduates (1,086), 921 students used grants or scholarships totaling $20.9 million, and 804 students took out $4.6 million in federal student loans.
