Healthrecap

Quincy Medical Group issued the following announcement on July 31.

Quincy Medical Group’s (QMG) Keokuk Clinic will resume extended Prompt Care hours beginning on August 1.

Prompt Care hours will be Monday through Friday 3 – 6 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m. – noon. Prompt Care allows patients to walk-in, without an appointment, to receive immediate care for an illness or injury. Patients can also schedule in-person or Telehealth appointments during the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

QMG Family Practice Physician Dr. Joe Smith said, “When you’re not feeling well, receiving care in a timely manner is important. We have an experienced team here in Keokuk who are available to treat a wide range of illnesses and injuries,” he said. “With ongoing concerns surrounding COVID, our clinic has taken extra precautions to help protect our patients at this time.”

Prompt Care services are available for patients ages six months and up. Conditions treated include illnesses and injuries, such as:

upper respiratory infections
