City of Quincy City Council met July 20.

Here is the agenda provided by the council:

PETITIONS

Ward 7 By On the Rail, 129 S. 4th, requesting permission to waive Sections 111.096(a), 111.096(d) and 111.067(a) on July 18, 2020 and have Live Entertainment/Public Gathering for a Bag Tournament. They are requesting to close a portion of the north alley. Barricades requested. The Police Department approves as long as they follow Governor Pritzker Phase 4 Order. A Certificate of Insurance and a signed City of Quincy indemnification agreement has been provided.

By the Quincy Knights of Columbus requesting permission to conduct a raffle and have the bond requirement waived from now until July 19, 2021. The City Clerk recommends approval of the permit.

REPORT OF THE BOARD OF FIRE AND POLICE COMMISSION

Requesting the City Council as a home rule city to waive and approve a firefighter for testing on September 12, 2020 due to Illinois Statute 65 ILCS, Section 10-2.1-6.3(c).
