A pair of recent webinar recordings aimed at assisting businesses and lenders with the federal Paycheck Protection Plan (PPP) Loan Forgiveness Application have been uploaded by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation for anyone in need of assistance.

Hosted in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), the webinars focus on everything from the application process to how loan forgiveness applications should be reviewed.

Designed to assist small business owners hampered by the impact of COVID-19, PPP is a forgivable, small business loan program administrated by the SBA. More than $125 billion in PPP funds remain available, with small businesses, sole proprietorships, independent contractors, and the self-employed all eligible.
