Due to the closure of City Hall to the general public, the city is working on a solution that will allow live broadcasting of City Council meetings to our residents. The City currently broadcasts City Council meetings on Adams channel 19 and Comcast channel 15. If you are interested in listening and/or watching the city council meeting live through the internet, please send an email to coq-meeting@quincyil.gov by 2:00 PM on Monday. This access will be limited to the first 80 individuals. The City Council meeting rebroadcast is also available on the city’s website, Adams channel 19 or Comcast channel 15 within 24 hours of the meeting.

Ward 2 Revocable permit application for encroachment of city right-of-way by Blick’s Construction to block the right turn lane on 12th Street at the 12th and Broadway intersection and sidewalks surrounding the property located at 1139 Broadway. The request is being made to accommodate the demolition of the building at 1139 Broadway which is owned by Blessing Health System. Utilities and Engineering Director and Utilities Committee recommending approval of the invoice from Richards Electric in the amount of $20,723.90 for Raw Water Pump #1 emergency repairs.
Utilities and Engineering Director and Utilities Committee recommending approval of payment to Wiemelt Plumbing and Excavating in the amount of $11,500 upon receipt for extended water service along N. 18th between Koch’s Lane and Highland Lane.

Airport Director and Comptroller requesting approval of a short-term loan of up to $500,000, as needed, from the Cash Reserve Fund to the Quincy Regional Airport to pay operating expenses to be repaid with grant funds once received.
