Quincy Medical Group issued the following announcement on May 13.
Quincy Medical Group (QMG) is pleased to announce that it has received a supply of Cepheid COVID-19 rapid testing kits today. These test kits are in limited supply and we’re proud to be the second physician group in the state of IL to receive an allotment. Due to the scarcity of the supply, QMG will limit the use of these tests to emergent patient needs. All patients who are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 should continue to call the COVID-19 Hotline at 217-277-4001 and the most appropriate testing protocol will be followed.
