PETITIONS

By St. Peters Catholic Church requesting to conduct a raffle and have the bond requirement waived from 5/29/20 to 8/29/20. The City Clerk recommends approval of the permit.

Ward 3 By Cullinan Properties Inc. to vacate a portion of a sewer easement located in the vicinity of the McDonalds Restaurant at the Quincy Mall. The specific section requested for vacation is a part of Lots 7 and 2 of Quincy Mall Subdivision Phase 5.

Ward 2 By SKS Properties for a zoning change from R1C (Single-Family Residential) to C1B (Limited Local Commercial) on property located at 2269 College Avenue and for a zoning change from C1A (Limited Local Commercial) to C1B (Limited Local Commercial) on property located at 707 North 24th Street to allow for the construction of additional off-street parking spaces

Resolution Requesting Modifications To Governor Pritzker’s Restore Illinois Plan.

Chief of Police and the Police Aldermanic Committee recommending approval to hire Quincy Storage and Transfer to move of furniture, equipment, and various other items to the new police facility for the estimated cost of $9,000.

Chief of Police and Police Aldermanic Committee recommending approval to remain an active participant with the West Central Illinois Criminal Justice Council for the annual fee of $8,750.00.

Utilities and Engineering Director and Utilities Committee recommending approval of the proposed Enforcement Response Plan for the Waste Water Treatment Plant.

Utilities and Engineering Director and Utilities Committee recommending approval of the proposal for engineering design services from Crawford, Murphy and Tilly, Springfield, IL in an amount not to exceed $571,940.

Utilities and Engineering Director and Utilities Committee recommending approval of the bid of Rees Construction Co. in the amount of $799,054.72 for the Maine, 24th to Emery Drive, Water Main Replacement Project.

Utilities and Engineering Director and Utilities Committee recommending approval of the low bid from Million Construction in the amount of $133,658 for the 2020 Sanitary Manhole Replacement Project.

Utilities and Engineering Director and Utilities Committee recommending approval of the low quote from Core & Main, Washington, IL in the amount of $13,650 for new fire hydrants.

Utilities and Engineering Director and Utilities Committee recommending approval to execute a new Sewer Easement with Cullinan Properties Inc. at 3201 Broadway.
