DISCUSSION OF CITY ACTIONS IN RESPONSE TO COVID - 19 DECLARATIONS

A resolution and/or ordinance regarding City actions in response to COVID -19 declarations.

PETITIONS

Ward 4 By Capitol City Rentals, LLC requesting consideration for a zoning change from R2 (Two Family Residential) to C1B (Limited Commercial)on property located at 1501 Broadway, 1503 Broadway, and 1507 Broadway to allow for the construction of a dental clinic and associated parking area.

Ward 1 By Dustin Day requesting consideration for a zoning change from R2 (Two Family Residential) to R3 (Multi-Family Residential) on property located at 300 Cedar Street to comply with multi-family density requirements.

Ward 7 The revocable permit application for encroachment of city right-of-way from The People’s Choice Thrift Shop, 120 North 5th St. requesting permission to place items for sale on the City sidewalk in front of the business March 26, 2020 through April 4, 2020 during normal business hours. The City Engineer presents this request subject to five conditions. Was tabled for two weeks by Ald. Holtschlag

RESOLUTIONS

Chief of Police and the Police Aldermanic Committee recommending approval to purchase three extended warranties from Gem City Ford for $8,580.00.

Utilities and Engineering Director recommending approval to enter into a perpetual Right-of- Way Easement with Adams Telephone Co-Operative at 1074 East 1363rd Lane commonly known as the Quincy Municipal Landfill #4.

Utilities and Engineering Director and Utilities Committee recommending approval to sign the necessary Illinois Environmental Protection Agency Public Water Supply Loan Program documents for the planned Water Supply Improvement projects to the treatment plant building.

Adoption of an ordinance entitled:

An Ordinance Amending The 2019 – 2020 Fiscal Year Budget. (Increase Expense: Health Insurance Claims $100,000.)
