Village of Mendon Board of Trustees met Feb. 13.

Here is the minutes provided by the board:

The Mendon Village Board of Trustees met in regular session on Thursday, February 13, 2020, in the Village Office. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Village Mayor Dean Woodruff. Trustees present were Buss, King, Moore, Voss and Wittler. Trustee Cannell was absent. Village Superintendent Cantrell and Village Clerk Woodruff were present and there were 2 guests present. (Brent and Bonnie Voth).

Brent and Bonnie Voth presented paperwork and pictures, regarding issues in regard to a wood burning stove at the home of their next door neighbor - Lennie Brown. Mr. Brown’s outdoor furnace is putting smoke in their home, damaging their property and causing them health issues. They have been in contact with their lawyers and Dr.’s and have been told the issue needs to be addressed by the Village Board.
