State Sen. Jil Tracy thanked public safety workers and urged residents to fill out the census.
State Sen. Jil Tracy (R-Quincy) used her Facebook page to remind residents that constituent services are still available despite legislative offices being closed because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Constituents can call Tracy’s district phone number, (217) 223-0833, or her capitol office number, (217) 782-2479, or use email to contact her at senatortracy@adams.net.
Tracy shared kind words on Facebook for grocery store, gas station, and pharmacy employees, thanking them for working and supporting the communities. She also thanked police, fireman, EMTs, and national guard. On her post, she wrote: "Thank you, public safety employees for all you do to keep our neighborhoods, our communities and our state safe!"
She also reminded people about the importance of completing the census, pointing out that the allocation of billions of dollars in funding is based on census data. “Take 10 minutes out of your day to fill out the census!” she posted.
The census can be completed online at my2020census.gov or over the phone by calling (844) 330-2020.
