Blessing Health System issued the following announcement on March 20.
Effective Saturday, March 21, the five durable medical equipment and complex rehab stores in the region operated by Denman Services, Inc., will modify their service in light of the COVID-19 response.
Adaptive Mobility Systems and Denman Medical Equipment and Supply in Quincy, Hannibal Medical Supplies, Macomb Medical Equipment and Supply, and Illini Health Services in Pittsfield, will offer curbside pickup and essential deliveries only until further notice in an effort to protect customers and employees. Customers and referral sources should call before coming to any of the four stores and a Denman staff member will meet the customer at their vehicle. Customers will be assisted on a first-call, first-served basis.
Durable medical equipment staff will continue to deliver essential medical equipment, including hospice setups and Adaptive Mobility Systems store will continue providing essential wheelchair repairs.
