City of Quincy City Council met Feb. 18.

Here is the agenda provided by the council:

PETITION

Wards 6,7      By St. James Lutheran School requesting permission to have a 5K Fun Run on June 20th from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. The run will start at 16th & Madison St., south to Jackson St., west to 12th St., south to Harrison St., west to South Park, through the park back to 12th & Harrison St., north to Jackson St., east to 16th St., north to Madison St. They ask for Police Auxiliary assistance at 12th & Jackson, 12th & Harrison and the entrance of South Park. Barricades are also needed.

MAYOR’S APPOINTMENTS

Reappointment of Steve Meckes to the Police and Fire Commission Ald. Jason Finney to the Enterprise Zone Board

RESOLUTIONS

Chief of Police and the Police Aldermanic Committee recommending approval to purchase three extended warranties from Gem City Ford for $8,580.

Resolution Authorizing Lease Agreement Office Space at 431 Hampshire Street. (Lease to Nicholas Rober at a year to year rental rate of $800 per month and a five year rent schedule increase of $50 per month per year.)

Fire Chief recommending approval to contract with Rush Truck Center to perform the necessary repairs to an aerial platform truck in the amount of $13,005.92.

An Ordinance Establishing A Retail Incentive Program.
