Quincy home prices rise in August 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2019 in Quincy rose by $17,000 while total sales decreased by 2.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2019, there were 78 homes sold, with a median sale price of $114,000 - a 17.5% increase over the $97,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 80 homes sold in Quincy in August 2018.

The median sales tax in Quincy for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,762, approximately 1.5% of the median home sale price for August 2019.
