Illinois State Senate District 47 issued the following announcement on Oct. 22.
The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) has allocated more than $68.1 million for construction projects in the 47th Senate District during Fiscal Year 2020, according to Senator Jil Tracy.
The 47th District Senator said 34 local projects are included in the state’s Highway Improvement Program for Fiscal Year 2020. The six-year plan also proposes additional funding of more than $412 million for 88 other local projects slated for FY 2021-2025.
