City of Quincy issued the following announcement on Aug. 1.
June is the Accounting Clerk in the City Comptroller’s Office. She has been with the City since November, 2016. June processes the accounts payable invoices. Reviews monthly vendor statements and works with vendors to resolve issues. She reconciles cash to the general ledger, does part of the payroll processing, and prepares month end reports. She files the Quarterly w/h tax reports and maintains all City leases and agreements into a central database. She also assists with budget preparation and assembles the budget document.
June previously worked 34 years in the Kirlin’s Corporate Office just two blocks down the street. She says “I am very happy to have found another great job in my field. And I noticed, like my previous job, there is a lot of longevity among the employees here, which speaks well for the City. It is a great place to work”
