The Mendon Village Board of Trustees met in regular session on Thursday, March 14, 2019, in the Village Office. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Village Mayor Dean Woodruff. Trustees present were Buss, King, Moore, Voss, and Wittler. Trustee Cannell was absent. Village Superintendent Cantrell and Village Clerk Woodruff were also in attendance. Deputy Saalborn was in attendance and there were no guests present.
Approve Minutes
Motion to approve the minutes of the February 14, 2019, regular meeting, and the special meeting of March 3, 2019, as read.

Approve Bills
Motion to approve the bills and payroll as presented and recommended by the finance committee.

Deputy's Report
1. 3 locations for cars coming up for towing
2. 911 hang up call - wellness check
3. Neighbor dispute – counseled.
4. Honda 4 wheeler stolen
Maintenance Superintendent's Report
1. Lagoon treatment – testing – quote coming for front cell, cost for treatment for another year discussed.
2. Plugged sewers being worked on
3. Lawnmower spring maintenance
4. Christmas lights – discussion regarding purchasing additional
Mayor's Report
1. Budget and Goals – LED lights for park shelter houses, playground equipment, Christmas lights,
2. Garage sales – May 18th
4. Clean up date – Tentatively first part of June
5. Cars and junk letters sent
6. Playground equipment ordered
7. Scholarships - $5,000 with preference to Mendon residents

Village Wide Clean Up Low Bid to Gooding Disposal
Motion to approve the low bid of Gooding Disposal for $965 per truck load for the Village Wide Cleanup. Items to be picked up on Monday, June 3, 2019. They will accept appliances at the end of the day if dropped off at the village office parking lot per list of items that can be recycled
