Liberty Community Unit Board of Education met April 17.

Here is the minutes provided by the board:

Regular meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. Board members present: Barry, Clark, Hedrick, Krutmeier, McCleary and Schmidt. Absent: Mixer. 6 present 1 absent. Also present Kelle Bunch, Jody Obert, Justin Edgar, Michael Smith, Christina Duffy, Montanna Neisen, Lydia Neisen, Laura Meyer, Allen Flynn, Meleah Flynn, Tasha Voga, Julia Poulter, Thera Green, Alexis Partlow and Jessica Jones.

Jessica Jones left at 6:45 p.m.

Joel Mixer arrived at 6:48 p.m.

Laura Meyer left at 7:20 p.m.

Motion by Hedrick, seconded by Clark that the board of education approve the routine consent agenda. Roll Call Vote: Aye: Barry, Clark, Hedrick, Krutmeier, Mixer, McCleary and Schmidt. 7 ayes 0 nays. M.C.

Motion by Krutmeier, seconded by Clark that the board of education approve the consent agenda. Roll Call Vote: Aye: Barry, Clark, Hedrick, Krutmeier, Mixer, McCleary and Schmidt. 7 ayes 0 nays. M.C.

Tabled setting the breakfast and lunch prices for 2019-2020.

Motion by Clark, seconded by Hedrick that the board of education approve the recommendations from the Facilities Committee to address projects this summer with Tort Funds, excluding parking bollards which will be considered at a later date. Roll Call Vote: Aye: Barry, Clark, Hedrick, Krutmeier, Mixer, McCleary and Schmidt. 7 ayes 0 nays. M.C.

Motion by Krutmeier, seconded by Schmidt that the board of education approve the Eagle Statute donated by the Thompson, Cantrell and Clinging Families. Roll Call Vote: Aye: Barry, Hedrick, Krutmeier, Mixer, McCleary and Schmidt. Nay: Clark. 6 ayes 1 nay. M.C.

Motion by Clark, seconded by Hedrick that the board of education approve the Pre-Expulsion Disciplinarian Agreement. Roll Call Vote: Aye: Barry, Clark, Hedrick, Krutmeier, Mixer, McCleary and Schmidt. 7 ayes 0 nays. M.C.

Krutmeier left at 8:40 p.m.

Christina Duffy, Montanna Neisen, Lydia Neisen, Allen Flynn, Meleah Flynn, Tasha Voga, Julia Poulter, Thera Green, Alexis Partlow left at 8:40 p.m.

Motion by Clark, seconded by Hedrick that the board of education approve the personnel report. Roll Call Vote: Aye: Barry, Clark, Hedrick, Mixer, McCleary and Schmidt. 6 ayes 0 nays. M.C.
