CITY OF QUINCY: City of Quincy Begins Collecting Orange Recycling Containers Without Stickers on May 20th

City of Quincy issued the following announcement on May 16.

City of Quincy residents who did not opt in to the Recycling Program by signing up and placing their sticker on their orange recycling container may have the container collected by City Crews on their regular garbage and recycling pick up day. Those who do not have stickers but wish to continue need to get their sticker at City Hall Monday – Friday from 8 a.m until 4:30 p.m.

The City’s new opt-in recycling program began May 1st. Customers who would like to continue to have recycling service will be billed a monthly charge of $5 a month for one recycle tote. If customers would like an additional tote, they will pay a one-time fee of $7. Decals will be given to be placed on the existing bins.
