City of Quincy Traffic Commission met May 13.

Here is the agenda provided by the commission:

1. Approval of Minutes

2. Public Comment (3 minute limit)

3. Old Business

a) Alderman Havermale’s request for the possibility of a pedestrian crosswalk on Oak Street between 48th and 52nd Streets;

b) Engineering Department’s request to discuss School Zone revisions;

4. New Business

a) Alderman Holtschlag’s referral to study the stoplight and crosswalk signal at the intersection of 8th and Broadway to see if the timing is correct;

b) Alderman Bauer’s referral to discuss crosswalks on Chestnut Street, 18th to 20th Streets;

c) Alderman Rein’s referral for “3-Way Stop” signs on Newcastle Drive and South 38th Street and Stone Crest Drive and South 38th Street;

d) Alderman Bergman’s referral for the possibility of “2 Hour Parking” in front of 633 North 12th Street from 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday;
