City of Quincy recently issued the following announcement.
The Quincy Fire Department will be flushing fire hydrants for flow testing purposes at the following locations the week of May 6th through May 10th:
| 6th & Van Buren Street | 8th & Harrison Street | 12th & Harrison | ||
| 19th & Jackson Street | 22nd & Jackson Street | 14th & Harrison Street | ||
| North and South Hilltop Drive | 8th & Klondike Road | 948 Madonna Drive | ||
| 1001 Gerard Drive | 18th & Amber Avenue |
Please note that during this time, residents in these areas may experience low water pressure or water discoloration. These conditions are temporary and the water will remain safe for use and consumption at all times.
