Mendon home prices fall in October 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2017 in Mendon fell by $21,250 while total sales decreased by 66.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2017, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $51,250 - a 29.3% decrease over the $72,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in Mendon in October 2016.

The median sales tax in Mendon for 2017 was $1,618. In 2016, the median sales tax was $1,651. This marks an decrease of 1.9%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 3.2%.
