Clayton home prices rise in March 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in March 2017 in Clayton rose by $9,450 while total sales decreased by 33.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In March 2017, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $51,950 - a 22.2% increase over the $42,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Clayton in March 2016.

The median sales tax in Clayton for 2017 was $674. In 2016, the median sales tax was $663. This marks an increase of 1.7%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.3%.
