City of Quincy issued the following announcement on March 27.
Mayor Kyle A. Moore will hold a Town Hall Meeting on Wednesday, April 10 at 5:30 PM-6:30 PM at Quincy Notre Dame’s Cafeteria, 10th and Jackson in Quincy, IL. Light refreshments will be served. All citizens of Quincy are invited and welcome to attend!
The Mayor will provide a brief overview of the proposed fiscal year 2019-20 budget and review changes to the solid waste program that will take effect May 1. Following the presentation there will be a question and answer period that will provide attendees the opportunity to ask the Mayor questions. Microphones will be provided so that all in attendance can hear.
Mayor Moore stated “Town Halls have become an important tool for me to have ongoing conversations with constituents about the challenges and opportunities facing the city. These conversations allow residents from every neighborhood in the City to have their voice heard.”
