Report: Community Unit School District #4 spent $8,805 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Community Unit School District #4 is down 3.4 percent from five years ago, according to a Quincy Reporter analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Adams County school district spent $9,113 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $8,805 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 703 to 674.

Community Unit School District #4's spending in 2017-18 was 34 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
