City of Quincy recently issued the following announcement.
Please be advised that effective immediately, Front Street between Jersey and Hampshire Streets is closed to through traffic. The road is expected to open to traffic on Monday, January 14, 2019.
This section of roadway has been closed to allow for the repair of a failed watermain.
Motorists are reminded to drive carefully near the construction work zone and to use an alternate travel route when possible.
