City of Quincy issued the following announcement on Dec. 18.
The County Clerk’s Office has mailed new temporary voter cards to voters in precincts 19, Riverside 2, and Riverside 3 who are eligible to vote in Wards 1 and 7. Please pay close attention as these cards indicate a temporary change in polling place. This change in polling place is only effective for the February 26th, 2019 Consolidated Primary Election. Precinct 19 will vote at Salem Evangelical Church in the February 26, 2019 election only. Eligible voters in Riverside 2 and Riverside 3 will vote at the Illinois Veteran’s Home in the February 26, 2019 election only. The address will be on the temporary voter cards. Following the election, those voters will receive an additional card indicating that their original polling place has been reinstated.
