City of Quincy Plan Commission met December 19.
Here is the agenda as provided by the commission:
1. Call the meeting to order
2. Approve minutes of the November 27, 2018 meeting
3. Public comment (limited to three minutes)
4. Public hearing requested by Jake Vahle for an amendment to a Special Permit for a Planned Development to locate a styling salon in the east building on property at 520 South 21st St. Zoned: R1C Ward: 4
5. Public hearing requested by Adam Booth, Sone Properties Incorporated, for a Special Permit to allow a nightclub on property at 600 Hampshire St. Zoned: D1 Ward: 7 (matter referred back to Plan Commission by City Council for study)
6. Review proposed amendment to Annexation Petition Requirements, Chapter 53 of the Municipal Code of the City of Quincy of 2015. (a public hearing is not required)
7. Review and schedule a public hearing for proposed amendments to Section 162.027 and Section 162.03(B) of the Municipal Code of the City of Quincy of 2015 to allow Nightclubs and Cabarets by Special Permit only in the M1 and M2 Industrial Districts.
