Elections
• County Clerk Chuck Venvertloh stated that his office is busy with the upcoming general Election. It is 9 weeks away. There has a huge influx of vote-by-mail requests already sent in. The Clerk is concerned people may not realize what they have signed and may be surprised when they receive a ballot in the mail.
Discussion
• Gun Range
o Todd Eyler has drafted a memo that covers a summary of the gun range discussions in the last few meetings. The County Board does have powers to shut down a gun range since there is no zoning. There is no history of the County ever having done so. The residents would have to look to the Pollution Control Board at the State level if they continue to seek closure.
