Adams County Legislative and Judicial Committee met Oct. 2.

Attendance:
• Legislative and Judicial Committee
o Present: Ryan Niekamp, Raquel Piazza and Ryan Hinkamper
o Absent: Theresa Bockhold, Todd Duesterhaus
• Also Present: Todd Eyler, Jim Frankenhoff and Wendy Venvertloh
The meeting began at 7:00 p.m.
The committee reviewed and approved the bills from the Circuit Clerk, Juvenile Detention Center, Probation Department, Public Defender, State’s Attorney and the Supervisor of Assessments.
The meeting minutes from the September 2018 meeting were approved.
New Business
• Appointments
o Lorraine Fire Protection District – William Miller – re-appointment to a 3 year term ending May 2021 – approved by the committee
• Resolutions
o County Holidays 2019 – accepted by the committee
o County Board Meetings 2019 – accepted by the committee with possible corrections – corrections forwarded to Chuck Venvertloh for consideration
The next meeting of this committee will take place on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at 7:00 p.m.
