Blessing Health System issued the following announcement on Oct. 4.
Thank you to Peoples Prosperity Bank for your donation to the Blessing Foundation! For the month of September, the Bank featured the Blessing Foundation and Quincy Hospitality House on their Community Wall as well as the Strength for Survivors exercise and wellness program sponsored by Blessing at the Quincy Family YMCA. In honor of their coworker, Joyce, who has been battling ovarian cancer for nearly two years, the team made their donation to the Cancer Center Fund.
"Joyce always looks to help others and we want to honor her caring and fighting spirit," said Jana Hattey, Community Bank President.
