By the Quincy Elks Lodge #100 requesting permission to conduct a raffle and have the bond requirement waived from 10/16/18 to 10/15/19. The City Clerk recommends approval of the permit.

Ward 1 By Quincy School District #172 requesting consideration to vacate a 200-foot-long public alley running north and south and situated south of Maple between North 8th and North 9th.

Ward 3 By William Weinberg requesting consideration for a subdivision (dividing one lot into two) of property located east of Cannonball Rd. and north of Greenbriar Ave. under the “small tracts” provision of the subdivision ordinance presently zoned RU1.

Ward 5 By James R. and Carmell L. Fitch requesting consideration for a subdivision of an unaddressed 4.9-acre property located east of Rose Valley Ln. under the “small tracts” provision of the subdivision ordinance presently zoned M1.

Fire Chief and Purchasing Director recommending approval to contract with Hastings (Plymovent) for the installation of a direct capture diesel exhaust removal system for all City of Quincy Fire Stations in the amount of $141,740; with the City’s portion of the expense to be $12,885.45.

Utilities and Engineering Director and Utilities Committee recommending approval of the invoice from Brinkman Plumbing Contractors totaling $3,491.80 for emergency repairs at St. Vincent’s Home near 10th & Sycamore.

Utilities and Engineering Director and Utilities Committee recommending approval of the low quote from Core & Main, Washington, IL, in the amount of $25,256 for fire hydrants, fittings and hot taps for dead end mains in Silverthorne Estates Subdivision.
