A special meeting of the Quincy Public Library Board of Trustees was held on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at 7 p.m. via teleconference call. Members present included: Lynn Niewohner, President, Dwain Preston, Kathy Citro, Angela Ketteman, Beth Young and Judy Crocker. Absent were Pam Rein, Chris Pratt and Tom Ernst,
Kathy Citro moved that the Emergency Meeting Policy be adopted as presented. Dwain Preston seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Judy Crocker moved to go into closed session at 7:10 p.m. Angela Ketteman seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Beth Young moved to come out of closed session at 7:40 p.m. Dwain Preston seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Kathy Citro moved that $325 be spent to place an ad with the ALA. Dwain Preston seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Angela Ketteman moved to hire an Interim Library Director under the terms recommend by the personnel committee on a part time basis. Kathy Citro seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Lynn reminded people to come to Nancy’s party on July 31! There will be a brief meeting preceding the party in one of the small conference rooms at the front of the Library.
Dwain Preston moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:50 p.m. Angela Ketteman seconded the motion. Motion carried.
