Analysis: Quincy pays $6.58 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Tri-Township Fpd Firefighters Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 86.8 percent of the $302,625 the Tri-Township Fpd Firefighters Pension Fund brought in last year, or $6.58 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Quincy Reporter analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Quincy contributed $262,735 to the fund, which saw a $16,061 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $39,891, or 13.2 percent, in 2016.
