RESOLUTIONS

Resolution to cancel the EAB treatment contract with Kinnucan Tree Experts & Landscaping Co.

Resolution establishing a time and place for a public hearing to consider the redevelopment plan and project for the south TIF Redevelopment Project rea. (Hearing scheduled for March 14, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. at the Quincy City Hall.)

Chief of Police recommending approval to pay the basic law enforcement training academy tuition costs for Officers Rice and Young who attended the Police Training Institute, Champaign, IL in the amount of $14,868.

Chief of Police recommending approval to pay the basic law enforcement training academy tuition for Officers Laaker and Vandermaiden who attended at the Sauk Valley Community College, Dixon, IL in the amount of $13,342.08.

Chief of Police recommending approval to purchase one 2023 Ford Police Interceptor Utility Vehicle from Carson Motors, Carthage, IL, in the amount of $44,992.03.

Engineering Manager, Public Works Director, and Central Services Committee recommend approval of the quote from Traffic Control Corporation of Ankeny, IA in the amount of $29,400 for the purchase of traffic signal equipment.

Illinois Department of Transportation resolution for maintenance of streets and highways by municipality under the Illinois highway code requesting to appropriate $528,450 of Motor Fuel Tax monies to the City for the 24/25 FY. This funding will be used for the purchase of concrete, asphalt patching, road salt and other items used for the maintenance of roads throughout the City of Quincy.

Illinois Department of Transportation resolution for maintenance of streets and highways by municipality under the Illinois highway code requesting to appropriate $401,000 of Motor Fuel Tax monies to the City for the 24/25 FY. This funding will be used to crack seal roads throughout the City of Quincy.

Illinois Department of Transportation resolution for maintenance of streets and highways by municipality under the Illinois highway code requesting to appropriate $1,309,000 of Motor Fuel Tax monies to the City for the 24/25 FY. This funding will be used for asphalt resurfacing projects throughout the City of Quincy.

Public Works Director, the Central Services Director and Central Services Committee recommend approval of the estimate from Mack Trucks, Inc. in the amount of $17,107.21 for repair costs to a garbage truck.

Public Works Director, the Central Services Director, and Central Services Committee recommend approval of an estimate from Rush Enterprises in the amount of $31,375.68 for a new dump/front line plow truck engine.

Director of Public Works recommending approval of the low bid from Rees Construction Co. in the amount of $240,075 for the Backwash Line Relocation Project at the Water Treatment plant.

ORDINANCE

Adoption of an Ordinance entitled:

Ward 3 An Ordinance Amending The District Map Which Is Made A Part Of Section 162.002 Of The Municipal Code Of The City Of Quincy Of 2015. (Rezoning a 6.52-acre parcel without an address that is located immediately east of Lake Ridge Drive and immediately north of North 52nd Street from multi-family residential (R3) to neighborhood residential (NR1) to allow for the construction of cluster homes.)
