Call to Order and Roll Call
The Southeastern Community Unit District #337 Board of Education met in regular session on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 in the Board of Education Office in Augusta, Illinois. Mark Hitz, Board President, called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
Roll Call verified that there was a quorum of the Board of Education with the following members present and absent as listed below:

Approval of Minutes
On a motion by Member Stevens and a second by Member Bunnell, the Board of Education approved the minutes from the September 27, 2023 regular meeting and closed session.

On a motion by Member Tippey and a second by Member Stevens, the Board of Education approved the appointment of Jordan Henry as a member of the Southeastern CUSD #337 Board of Education-filling the board vacancy for a two-year term.

Special Recognition
Kimberly Harrison presented the Board Excellence Awards which included ILMEA District IV Honors Chorus, selected to participate in the Future Champions All-State Baseball Game, Advance to IHSA Girls Golf Sectional, 8-man Football Team Playoff Qualifier, 1000 Career Volleyball Assists, 1000 Career Volleyball Kills, Waverly Volleyball Tournament All Tournament Team, 3rd Place Waverly Volleyball Tournament, 2 Place United Volleyball Tournament.
Financial
On a motion by Member Tippey and a second by Member Stevens, the Board of Education approved the bills, financial statements, and activity funds.

Informational Items
Superintendent Lantz explained the updated teacher tenure policy.
Superintendent Lantz presented the Salary and Benefits Report which is posted on the district website.
Superintendent Lantz reviewed the FY24 Personnel Report received from the ROE.
No Administrative reports were given.
Action Items
On a motion by Member Tippey and a second by Member Stevens, the Board of Education approved the FY25 District Risk Management Plan as presented.
