In a collaborative effort to bring some holiday cheer to the community, Rep. Frese, State Rep. C.D. Davidsmeyer, State Sen Jil Tracy, and Meridian Health Plan of Illinois have come together to organize a Thanksgiving holiday food giveaway in Jacksonville. The event is scheduled to take place on Nov 20, 2023.

Meridian Health Plan of Illinois has generously provided 200 turkeys and hams for distribution. The food items will be handed out from 9:00 a.m. to noon at the Jacksonville Area Community Food Center, located at 311 E. Morgan St. in Jacksonville.

The distribution will be on a first-come-first-served basis, ensuring that as many households as possible can benefit from this initiative. Each household will receive one turkey or ham, and supplies will last until they run out.

This event aims to assist families in need during the Thanksgiving holiday and ensure that they have a hearty meal on their tables. Rep.
