Central School District #3 Board Curriculum Committee met Nov. 10.
Here are the minutes provided by the committee:
1. Call to Order
Present: Marty Cook, Vicki Eilers, Chevi Ingalls, Brianna Hildebrand, Eric Stotts, Ashley Aeilts, Devin Hildebrand

3. CHS
a. Vocational Programs
Career Day
Two different options they will discuss on the next SIP day
Eilers shared what she teachers and the description of the classes.
She shared the new class that she will be teaching next semester, Business Finance.
4. CJHS
a. Math RTI
Sanchez (5th/6th) on Monday and Wednesday during study hall for 20 minutes. (25 students)
Sanchez (7th/8th on Tuesday and Wednesday during 20 minutes of their electives. (25 students)
Plans to re-test students next week.

b. After School Tutoring
There are 8- 10 students that attended
Tuesday/Thursday after school
Would like to see more participation

How many students are invited to tutoring? Can you invite more?
Are high school students helping with tutoring? Could they get community service?
5. CMS
a. SIP goals; math/reading/IAR
Spoke about SIP goals
Reading- teachers will bring different lessons to the group to help support the focused standards.
Math- the station is almost ready for volunteers to come in and do math facts with.
Talked about cursive and typing skills.
6. Curriculum Director
a. Evaluwise
Shared what Evaluwise is
b. District/State Benchmarks for STAR
Gave examples of district vs. state benchmarks for Star
7. CES
a. Guided Reading training
Shared information about guided reading training
CES is enjoying Cindy’s support
b. STAR assessments
Wonders about a report.
It shows grade equivalent and what “color” they are........it doesn’t match up.
Ingalls is going to look into the answer with Renaissance.
8. Superintendent
a. IAR Committee focus: intentional preparation and practice
