John Wood Community College Executive Committee met Nov. 16.

The Executive Committee met on Monday, November 14, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. Attendees were Mr. Bob Rhea trustee, (via zoom), Ms. Diane Ary and Mr. Larry Fischer trustees; Mr. Michael Elbe, president, and Ms. Leah Benz, executive assistant, note taker.
November Board of Trustees Business Agenda items discussed:
o Truth in Taxation Resolution/Certificate
o Board Meeting Dates 2023
o Rejection of proposal to provide electric automation for the auditorium stage
o Acceptance to provide lighting for the auditorium stage

Personnel
• Grievance update was provided to the Executive Committee and will be reviewed in closed session.
• Discussion was held on organizational structure
Discussion items
New president - Dr. Bryan Renfro was on campus this past week. A proposed date of December 8th was set for him to return to campus. A preliminary schedule was drafted and will be finalized with Dr. Renfro if this date is acceptable.
Thank you notes and a token of appreciation will be sent out this week to the community search committee members.
President Elbe shared that he attended a meeting in Hannibal to discuss the innovation center.
